Eleanor Lynn Quirk-Holland

Eleanor "Lynn" Quirk Holland (Webster), 80, of Wakefield passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Raymond W. Quirk and Edward F. Holland. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Clifford and Eleanor (Reilly) Webster. Mrs. Holland was an employee for the City of Cranston in the clerks office and then a secretary for the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring; was a very active parishioner at St. Paul Church and was a graduate of St. Paul and Cranston High Schools; a communicant of St. Romauld Chapel and a member of the Green Hill Beach Club. She is survived by three children, Raymond Quirk, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Wakefield, James Quirk and his wife Diane of Charlestown and Carolyn Gorham and her husband Timothy of Wakefield; two sisters, Margaret "Peg" Cooney of Matunuck and Mary Ann Torgen of Wakefield; a brother, David Webster of Oxford, MD; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-children, Cynthia Matarese of Cranston, Edward F. Holland, Jr. of Fall River, MA and Stephen P. Holland of Evansville, IN. She was the sister of the late Clifford Webster. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 10 am in St. Romauld Chapel, Atlantic Ave., Matunuck. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 4-7 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
