Eleanor T. Gray

Eleanor T. Gray, 79, formerly of Charlestown, passed away Thursday. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George and Caroline (Bradley) Tyrrel. Mrs. Gray was employed at the University of Rhode Island for many years, retiring in 1999. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Gray Swensen of Narragansett and Karen Duey of South Kingstown; a son Gary Gray of Narragansett; two sisters, Muriel Galante and Judith Read, both of FL; four grandchildren, Felicia Walker Lospaluto, Zachary Ryan Walker, Cody Brandon Walker, and Sarah Nicole Swensen; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Theodore Lospaluto and Owen Thomas Lospaluto. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10 am Tuesday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Visiting hours are Monday, 5-8 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow, 266 Devils Foot Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852, to help support their mission in assisting low-income families.
