Eleanor Fournier

Eleanor B. Fournier, 87, of Richmond, formerly of Coventry, passed away, Thursday May 7, 2020. She was the wife of the late Norman Fournier. Born in Melrose, MA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Agnes (O’Connor) Babin. Mrs. Fournier was employed for 25 years at Kent Hospital, as a Food Service Supervisor prior to retiring. She was also a former member of the Coventry School Committee. She is survived by four daughters Denise Finnegan of Canton, GA, Diane Anderson of Richmond, Michele Rozenberg of Hopkinton, and Renee Martin of Coventry, as well as their spouses; nine grandchildren: Melissa Allamby, Stacey Hughes, Micaela Brady, Kelly Scott, Casey Sommers, Brian Martin, Robert Martin, Dustin Rozenberg, and Auston Rozenberg; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Ethan Rozenberg and sister of the late Thomas Babin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a future date when social restrictions are lifted. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
