Eleanor J. Follett (Flemming, Fleming, Smith), 76, died September 13, 2014 at South County Hospital after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Paul for 24 years. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Fleming. She was the sister of Patrick of Las Vegas, Josephine of Las Vegas, Margaret of Hiram, Ohio, Beatrice of Elberta, Alabama, and the late Richard, Raymond, John, Irene, Katherine and Mary. She is survived by her twin sons, Michael Smith and his wife Debra of North Kingstown and Mark Smith and his wife Karen of Coventry; her stepson Timothy Follett and wife Jane of South Kingstown; stepdaughters Deborah Paltrineri and husband Edward of Seattle and Meredith Scibisz and husband John of Hampton; her grandchildren Kyle and Shannon Smith of Coventry RI, Gregory and Zachary Smith of North Kingstown; step grandchildren Stephen and Hannah Follett of South Kingstown, Aidan and Treva Paltrineri of Seattle and Allison and Krista Scibisz of Hampton, NH. Eleanor was employed for many years as an executive secretary at several RI firms including Gulton Industries of East Greenwich and Atlantek Inc. of Wakefield from where she retired in 2004. Visiting hours will be held Friday 5-7 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNS, 14 Woodruff Ave, Narragansett, RI 02882.
