Elaine M. Whaley

Elaine (Molloy) Whaley, 87, of South Kingstown, passed away at home on Friday, October 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lloyd L. Whaley for 61 years. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Molloy.

Elaine worked for the Neighborhood Guild for 20 years before retiring, she also worked at Woolworth. She enjoyed time with her family, her home and all her friends. She loved a good game of cards, bingo, Keno and decorating her home for every Holiday.

She is survived by her children Linda E. Sweet and her husband Greg, Lloyd T. “Lukie” Whaley, Lora Petrichko and her husband Eric, Lance E. Whaley and his wife Kathy all of South Kingstown; her beloved grandchildren James (Katie) Campanini, Jalyn Campanini, Zachary (Meghan) Petrichko, Ashley and Thomas Graham, Morgan Whaley, Brett (Lauren) Whaley, Colby (Bridget) Whaley; great-grandchildren Abagail and Sergio, Lenox Campanini and Lillian Petrichko (due November). She was predeceased by her sister Edith Papa.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield at 11:00am, burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, South Kingstown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home.
