Elaine B. Cowdell

Elaine B. Cowdell, 88, of Charlestown, passed away Friday February 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late Stanley F. Cowdell. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Kingsley and Alice (Coppage) Baker. Mrs. Cowdell was an executive secretary with ITT Grinnell and Wickman Bennett Machine for many years before retiring. She was the mother of Raymond Riggs, Dayle Riggs and Lynn Baker; grandmother of Tracey Villani, Lisa Greenhal, Kelley Haywood and Randy Riggs; great grandmother of five; sister of Phyllis Underwood and Ronald Baker. She enjoyed needlework,sewing and traveling. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
