Elaine E. Anderson

Elaine E. Anderson, 88, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. She was happily married for 50 years to the late Ronald W. Anderson. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late E. Joseph and Bridget (Riccitelli) Capraro.

After graduating from Central High School in 1954, Elaine began a career in the banking and retail industries. She dedicated many years to raising her children in Warwick and Narragansett before returning to the workforce in the 1980s.

Elaine will be fondly remembered for her warm and welcoming home, her wonderful home cooking, and her unwavering love for her family, friends, and extended family. In later years, she found joy and companionship at the Narragansett Senior Center, which became a cherished home away from home. She was deeply grateful for the kindness and sense of belonging she experienced there.

She is survived by her four children, Ronald A. Anderson (Mary Beth), Ken Anderson, James Anderson (Barbara) and Susan Haverly, as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A visitation for Elaine will be held form 9:15 to 10:15 on Monday, April 14, 2025 in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St, Narragansett. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
