Eileen F. Stroble (Schnizler), 77, of Wakefield, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eldridge A. Stroble. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Edith (LaFontaine) Schnizler. Eileen loved her family and raising her children. She was the heart of the family and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her four children, Melinda Honan, Bridget Stroble, Stephen Stroble and Aubrey Rodman, a brother, Frederick Schnizler , her grandchildren, Jared Stroble, Jebediah Stroble, Justine Stroble, Isaiah Stroble, Raven Grimmie, Rebecca Doxey, Maddox Ruiz-Stroble, Gavin Rodman, Nolan Rodman, Harper Rodman, Tommy Honan, Daniel Honan, and Stephan Honan, nine great grandchildren and growing. She was the mother of the late Andrea Michelle and grandmother of the late Kevin Shea Kodzis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 5-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
