Effie K. Davis

Effie K Davis, 88, of South Pier Rd, Narragansett, died April 9th in hospice at South County Hospital. A long time resident of North Kingstown RI, she was the wife of the late Milton D. Davis Jr. of N. Kingstown. Born in Arlington County Virginia she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Leeona (Ross) Adams and the stepdaughter of the late Thomas Fuller of Alexandria Virginia. She was the mother of Milton D. Davis III of CT and the late Karen P Davis of Narragansett. Effie is also survived by her grandsons Geoffrey R Davis, Gregory M. Davis and a great grandson Max Davis all of CT. Also there are numerous cousins, nephews and nieces in Virginia and N Carolina. We will remember Effie as a loving caregiver and for her endless energy. Informal graveside services for Effie and her daughter Karen will be held Saturday May 15th at 10 AM at the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI.
