Edward O. Todd

Edward O. Todd, 57, of Snug Harbor, died Sunday at home. He was the beloved husband of Anne-Louise (McMahon) Todd. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Norman V. and Dorothy A. (Sexton) Todd. Mr. Todd retired from commercial fishing, after 25 years. He was a member of St. Peters By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, the RI Episcopal Cursillo, enjoyed reading, and was an avid Yankees fan. He will be remembered as devoting all his spare time to his grandchildren, whom he adored. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Edward O. Todd, II and his wife Jennifer of Carver, MA and Christopher J. Todd and his wife Melissa of Johnston; two granddaughters, Lauren Anne Todd and Meghan Rose Todd; a sister, Norma Lilly Todd of Evansville, IN; and a brother David A. Todd of Bella Vista, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at St. Peters By-the-Sea Church, 72 Central Street, Narragansett. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
