Edward F. Carr

Edward F. Carr, 71, of South Ferry Rd., Narragansett, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at home. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ethel May (Sutton) Carr. Mr. Carr was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a longtime fisherman out of Pt. Judith and owner of F/V Joan Cindy. He then worked as a mechanic for Howard Johnson Inc. and South County Sand and Gravel before retiring. He enjoyed his trains and building model boats. He was the father of Kenneth Carr of Narragansett. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 5-7 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
