Edward W. Braisted, Jr.

Edward W. Braisted Jr., 74, of Cornell Road, Narragansett, died Wednesday, August 12th. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Gulluzzi) Braisted. He was born April 14, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, NY. Mr. Braisted was a career US Navy enlisted man, retiring in 1974 with the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class. After his discharge from the Navy, he was employed for Dynair Aviation at Quonset Point. He is survived by his six children, Edward J. Braisted and John Braisted both of Narragansett , Mark Braisted of North Carolina, Beatrice Braisted of Johnston, Mary Braisted of South Kingstown and Adele Loar of Colorado; five grandchildren and a sister Linda Koffman of Oregon. Funeral services are private.
