Edith Chmura

Edith Chmura, 82, of Middlebridge and formerly of Cumberland, died Wednesday. She was the wife of the late Theodore Chmura. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Blezard) Cooper. She is survived by two daughters; Nancie Moore of Wakefield and Gail Chmura of Montreal, Canada, a sister and brother in law Evelyn and George Arnold of Wakefield and a grandson and his wife Adam Moore and Brigitte Hales of Los Angeles, CA. She was the Sister of the late Gladys Chartier, Doris Barry, Ronald and James Cooper. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the Church of the Ascension, 370 Main Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are at the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Sunday 2-5 PM.
