Edith M. Trowbridge Archibald

Edith M. Trowbridge Archibald, 88, of Wakefield, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Ronald Archibald and the late Ronald Trowbridge. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Emily (Weivill) O’Toole. Mrs. Archibald was a Registered Nurse, working for Dr. Mauricio Golberg as well as at South County Hospital. Previously, she was an X-Ray Technician and had served as the head of the X-Ray Department at South County Hospital. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a long time member of the Shannock Baptist Church, serving as the church organist for many years. She will be remembered as loving her family unconditionally. She is survived by a daughter, Sally Boisclair and her husband David of West Kingston, two grandchildren, Tammy Jane Fabrizio of Charlestown and Joshua David Ronald Boisclair of West Kingston; a great granddaughter, Sophia Fabrizio of Charlestown; she also leaves a brother William O’Toole and a cousin, Jean McGregor. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24th at 11 AM at the Shannock Baptist Church, 1632 Shannock Road, Shannock. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and burial is private.
