Eddie J. Miller, 71, of Railroad St., Wakefield, died Monday. He was the husband of Virginia (Mazyck) Miller. Born in Kingstree, SC, he was the son of Dorothy (Scott) Miller of NY and the late John Wallace. Mr. Miller was a truck driver for Department of Transportation State of Rhode Island for 34 years before retiring. He previously worked as a dyer for Palisades Mill and after retirement worked for Liberty Rental. Besides his wife and mother he leaves, three daughters, Latanya Miller, Bridget Handley and her husband Jeremy of Wakefield and Rolanda Mazyck of West Warwick; a godson, Shawn Hazard of CT; nephews, Lewis Coppock of MA and Anthony Coppock of VA; grandchildren, Lakiesha, Dominique, TY, Kristy, Mahlik, Terell, Tremayne and Jhanai. He was brother of the late Emma Lou Coppock. The funeral will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting Hours Thursday 6-8 PM.
