Earl R. Tipton

Tipton, Earl "Roy" 92, of Narragansett, RI passed away peacefully on August 17, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Colagiovanni) Tipton, for 71 years. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Earl Tipton and Evelyn (Newell) Tipton. Roy proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked at Gulf Oil in petroleum distribution for 22 years. Besides his wife, Roy is survived by his three daughters. Katherine Beagan (Joseph), Laurie Beaulieu (George), and Caroline Tipton (Andrew Varrieur); six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 2 at 11 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, RI. Burial will be private.
