Earl W. Hazard

May 15, 1926 — February 4, 2010

Earl W. Hazard, 83 of West Kingston, died Thursday. He was the former husband of Nina Hazard of South Kingstown. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Leonard and Edith (Hazard) Young. Mr. Hazard served in the Army during WW II and was a member of the Downey-Weaver American Legion Post 34. He is survived by three children; John Hazard and Margaret Hazard, both of Wakefield, Yvonne Pantalone of Westerly; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held Friday at 12 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
