Earl L. Rev. Brown

Rev. Earl L. Brown, 81, of Wright Ave, Wakefield, died Thursday August 11, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Trujillo) Brown. Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Waldo and Minnie (Long) Brown. Rev. Brown was the pastor of the Church of God in Malden, MA from 1973 to 1985. He worked as a custodian at the University of Rhode Island for many years and was an associate minister at the Church of God in Peace Dale before retiring. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Besides his wife he leaves sons, Earl Brown of Buffalo, NY, Carl Brown of Westerly, RI; daughters, Viola Salano of Gales Ferry, CT and Patricia Hazard of Charlestown, RI; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was brother of the late Robert, Hobart and Ted and Fred Brown. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 PM.
