E. John Rev. Yuells

Rev. E. John Yuells, 92, of Wakefield passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was the husband of Barbara B. (Benson) Yuells for 65 years. Born in Lynnbrook, NY, a son of the late Eustice and Alice (Osborne) Yuells. Rev. Yuells was a Pastor at the following churches; his first assignment at Bellport Methodist Church in Long Island; Grand Rapids First Congregational Church and Rochester Congregational Church both in MI and then retired from Woodridge Congregational Church in Cranston. He was also an avid master gardener; a member of the North Kingstown Stamp Club and remained active in teaching adult bible study at the Peace Dale Congregational Church. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Mark Yuells of Pawcatuck, CT, David H. Yuells of Pawtucket and Laura Kelly and her husband Stephen of Wakefield; four grandchildren, Jesse J. Lehrman of Wakefield, Brett P. Lehrman of Providence, Mackenzie Lehrman of Wakefield and Mark Yuells Jr. of Pawcatuck, CT and four step-grandchildren, Megan Andrews, Kaitlyn, Delany and Colin Kelly. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11 AM in the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia St., Peace Dale. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
