Dwayne Mack, 63, of Matunuck, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at South County Hospital. He was the son of the late Russell (Spud) Mack and Bonnie (Page) Mack born on January 17, 1962.
Dwayne was the husband of Donna (Conlon) Mack; Father of Tyler Mack; brother of Douglas Mack, Donald Mack, and David Mack. Also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He fished both onshore and offshore fishing which included selling lobsters and shellfish in Narragansett from his boat in earlier years. He also was an avid hunter which included all sorts of wildlife like ducks, geese, and deer.
Dwayne ran his own business called Mack's Lawn service which he ran both on the main land and on Block Island which was then called Glen's Lawn Service. He also worked at Electric Boat and Senesco Mariner as a Shipfitter.
Dwayne also enjoyed raising cattle on his family farm after his parents passed away. He had a special way with the cows. He also helped his parents raise the cattle, hay the fields and fix the farming equipment; whatever needed to be done at the farm, he was there.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 from 3-5pm followed by a funeral service at 5pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
