Dusten James Hamlin, Ii

Dusten J. Hamlin II, 51 of Matunuck, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Dusten had such a huge presence it’s impossible to put on a one-dimensional object. Anyone who knew Dusten knew his biggest accomplishment was being a devoted father to his son and daughter. Secondly, we can all agree it was his ability to make everyone in the room feel like they were the most important, to make them happy and laugh. His love and knowledge for music were part of his DNA. Dusten will be missed as a father, son, brother, uncle and friend. The world got smaller with this huge loss for so many. Dusten leaves behind his children, Dusten and Nina Hamlin, and their mother Sarah Bouvier, his father Dusten Hamlin and his wife Elizabeth Hamlin, mother Carol Hamlin, siblings, Adam Sandel and his wife Viki Sandel, Jessica Amey and her husband Russell Amey, Amy Kinnecom, and David Kinnecom. We will honor him by remembering all the happy times that we shared. His legacy will be his ability to put others first, be our friend, and the love that he had for his family and friends. We will see you soon Dusty. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 14, 2022 from 4-7pm.
