Dorothy R. ”Rachel” (Morse) LeBon, 74, of Wakefield, formerly of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 at the South Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Coughlin) Morse. She was the wife of the late Robert LeBon for thirty years.
Dorothy was a retired Registered Nurse and was employed at the former John E. Fogarty Memorial Hospital, in North Smithfield, Visiting Nurse Service of Woonsocket, and Treasure Coast Hospice of Stuart, FL. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to Cape Cod, traveling, drawing, and gardening.
She is survived by her two children, Stephanie (LeBon) Diorio and her husband Christopher, and Jeffrey LeBon. She leaves four grandchildren, Michaela (Brown) Wallace, Jeffrey Duarte, Shanze LeBon and Saira LeBon, and one great-grandchild, Henry Wallace. She is also survived by two siblings, Alice Plante and Donald Morse, one half-sibling, Carl Morse, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Francis “Frank” Morse.
Calling hours for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will take place at a later date.
