Dorothy Anne
Fish
Nov 20, 1943 — Jul 13, 2026
Dorothy Anne Fish, 82, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on July 13th. Born in South Kingstown to her loving parents, the late Albert and Dorothy (Richmond) Woodmansee. She was the former wife of John Fish for over 20 years, and beloved companion of Wallace Hazard.
Anne was a devout partner, mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, friend, and most recently, great grandmother. She impacted everybody that she knew and always had an 'open-door' policy for both people and stray animals. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family, notably to places like China, Germany, the Netherlands, and of course, Disney World. She loved hosting special occasions and holidays, arts and crafts, spending time with her family, and strengthening her relationship with God. Always behind the camera, she made sure to capture life through her eyes and take pictures of everything she saw. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren to no-ends and went to every recital, game, and performance they would participate in. She was truly a woman who lived for her family.
She is survived by her 2 children, Matthew and Jennifer, 3 grandchildren, Suzanne Sabacek, Christopher Fish, and Erin McCaffrey, her great-grandson Leo, her 2 nieces, Linda Green and Valerie Mooney, and her great nieces and nephews, Nathan, Zachary, Kaitlyn G., Rachel, Robert, Margaret, and Kaitlyn M.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd from 11-12 PM with a prayer service immediately following at 12PM in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI.
Burial will be private.
