Doris Pollock

July 29, 1915 — January 28, 2016

Doris Pollock, 100, of Wakefield, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Pollock. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Maude (Holland) Champlin. Mrs. Pollock was a waitress at several local restaurants in the South County area and she also was a cake maker and designer. She was a member of the South Kingstown Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a niece Jean Boisse and her husband David of Peace Dale; a nephew Owen Corcoan of New York; as well as several great nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with a prayer service to follow in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
