Doris A. Metivier

Doris A. Metivier, 92, of Coventry, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Paul A Metivier for 73 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Theodora (Lemieux) Savard. Doris and her husband enjoyed living near the water. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. Her biggest achievement was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons, Paul E. Metivier and Kathy, and Leo H. Metivier and Chris, and her daughter, Gloria J. Berard and George; as well as her two granddaughters, Meghan Metivier and Meredith Metivier. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 10:30am -11:30am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Burial will be private.
