Doris A. Mercier

Doris A. Mercier, 81, of Charlestown, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Mercier and the late Joseph Flesia, Jr. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Miles and Amy (Segar) Babcock. She had previously worked for Electric Boat, Metlife, and the Town of Narraganset. She will be missed by her family, who loved her deeply. Surviving are four children, Cynthia Burns of Charlestown, Joseph Flesia, III of South Kingstown, Mark Flesia and Kelly Flesia, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. At her request, services will be private.
