Donald B. Neill

Donald B. Neill 76, of Charlestown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 20, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Baum Neill. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John B. and Thelma (Mann) Neill. Donald was a retired Millwright welder, a member of Local 94. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Robin N. Smith and her husband Greg of Lincoln, R.I., Donald B. Neill, Jr. and his wife Brigit Timpson of Providence R.I. and Auckland, New Zealand, Kerri L. Neill, Matthew J. Neill and his wife Angelica of East Providence, R.I, and step-daughter Danielle Werblin and her husband Michael of Niskayuna, NY. He was affectionately known as "Pops" to his grandchildren Evan, Mollie, Benjamin, Noah, Gabriel, Micaela, and Francesca. He is also survived by a sister, Fay Jette and her husband Donald of Cumberland; predeceased by brothers Alexander, Jack and Robert Sr. as well as a sister, Dorothy Reilly. Don was happiest being outdoors and enjoyed tending his large garden or fishing with his grandchildren. During the season he could often be found clamming at his favorite spot in Quonnie. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Cross Mills, 4403 Old Post Rd, Charlestown, RI on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:00am.
