Donald Robert Hazard, Jr.

Donald Robert Hazard Jr., 64, passed away peacefully at Elderwood of Scallop Shell Nursing Home on September 24, 2019 . Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Gladys L. (Peckham) Hazard and the late Donald R. Hazard Sr. Donald worked at the Point Judith Fishermans Co-op for many years, was a member of the RI Army National Guard, and a proud member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. He had a love of music, dancing, family, flowers and cookouts. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Vivian Hazard of Wakefield, Gary Hazard of Wakefield, Linda Smith of Peace Dale, Joan Hazard of Wakefield, June Jones of North Kingstown, Bruce Hazard of Wak efield, Robert Sekator of California, Holly Hazard of Wakefield and the late Carl L. Job (Hazard). Along with many nephews and nieces. Donald was a loving, and kind hearted person; He will surely be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield with visitation from 10 a.m. 11 a.m. Visitation: Thursday, October 3, 2019 10:00 AM
