Donald R. Emery

Donald R. Emery, 89, of South Kingstown, passed away July 14. He was the husband of Margaret (Holland) Emery. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late Everett and Leota (Sprague) Emery. Mr. Emery was a Deputy Chief for the Tower Hill Fire Station 6 for 14 years from 1969 to 1983. Besides his wife he is survived by his children William Emery and Kevin Emery; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Kenneth Emery. He was predeceased by his sons Donald Emery, Jr. and Bruce Emery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield.
