Donald E. Dobby Dobson, Jr.

Donald E. "Dobby" Dobson Jr., 70, of Shannock Rd., Charlestown, died Thursday at South County Hospital. He was the husband of Florence (Whitney) Dobson. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of Hope (Pierce) Dobson of Wakefield and the late Donald E. Dobson. Mr. Dobson was a commercial fisherman out of Pt. Judith for the last fifty one years. He was the father of Donald Dobson of Wakefield, Stephen Dobson of Charlestown and the late James Dobson; brother of Brenda Richards of Carlile, PA and grandfather of Stephen Dobson. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 9-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
