Don R. Stedman

Don R. Stedman, 62, of the RI Veterans Home, Bristol, died Thursday at the Veterans Medical Center, Providence. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Don R. Stedman Sr. and Norma (Babcock) Stedman. Mr. Stedman was an electrician at Electric Boat Groton, CT. He was US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the father of Deanna Barber of Exeter and Elizabeth Bruen of Wakefield; brother of Kathryn Reed of West Kingston, Joanne Henley of Charlestown and Donna Emery of Wakefield and grandfather of six. A memorial service will be held Friday January 29, 2010 ay 11:00 AM in The Shannock Baptist Church, Main St., Shannock. Burial will be private.
