Dominick Nocito

Dominick Nocito, 78, formerly of Wakefield, passed away Tuesday, January 15th.Born in Wakefield, he was a son of the late Dominick and Ida (DiBiasio) Nocito. After being orphaned, he was raised locally in Peace Dale by the Flesia Family. Mr. Nocito was employed at the University of Rhode Island for 35 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed collecting stamps and rare coins. He was predeceased by his dear sister, the late Mary Rose Nocito, and by a long-time companion, the late Elizabeth (Betty) Adams. Dominick was a proud, life-long resident of Peace Dale, until he went to live several years ago at Darlington Assisted Living Center in Pawtucket, and then Darlington Memory Lane in North Providence where he received wonderful care. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, January 26th at St. Francis Cemetery, George Schaeffer Street, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
