Dianne M. (Sager) Ide, 71, of Charlestown and Nokomis. FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19th after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of William Ide and they had just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Born in Providence, raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late David and Marie Gendron. She worked as a secretary for over 30 years at both Ferriera Construction and City Foundry Corporation until her retirement in 2006. Besides her husband she is survived by her two loving children, Matthew (wife Kelli) of Skaneatlas, NY and Nathaniel (wife Kim) of Barrington. She is also survived by her two brothers, Charles Sager (wife Linda) of California and David Gendron (wife Pauline) of Pawtucket. She was a terrific Nana to her five adored grandchildren Andrew, Robert, William, Avery and Jack. Her grandchildren were the most precious thing in the world to her. Along with being an incredible Nana, her favorite life-long passions were going to the beach, hard crust Italian bread and being one of the worlds best hockey moms. There will be a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, https://www.stjude.org/give.html.
