Dianne Kathleen Hughes, 77, of South Kingstown, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was the wife of Fred Frostic. Born in Howell, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Martha (Schneider) Hughes. Dianne attended Michigan State and graduated from the University of RI. She was case manager at South Shore Mental Health Center. Dianne was known to take the path less traveled and always took the backroads when she could. She was adventurous, witty, and spirited. She enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, running, and was a part of a book club and a gourmet club. Dianne always made the family apart of her explorations. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Mark, Jeff, and Julie Hansen. She was predeceased by her brother Phil Hughes. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 3-6pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
