Diana Sue Hazard

Diana Sue Hazard, 68, of Rodman St., died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Rev. Wallace F. Hazard. Born in Columbus, OH, she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Susie May Barnes. Mrs. Hazard worked in ministry with her husband for many years. She was a member of the First Church of God, New Haven, CT and Women United, Wakefield. She enjoyed gardening, singing, photography and travel, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was the loving mother of Rev. Darrell A. Hazard of MD and Susan L. Hazard of Wakefield; loving sister of Harold Barnes, Frances Flewellen, Sylvia Whitthorne and Ramona Webb all of OH and the late Donald and Ralph Barnes and Theresa Dickerson; loving grandmother of Candace and Christopher Hazard and Sade Cruz. The funeral will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM.
