Denise E. Carlson

Denise E. Carlson (Tameo), 65, of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 26, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence T. Carlson. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Jean Daigle and the late Gerald Tameo. Denise graduated from Hope High School with the Daughters of the American Revolution Award. She also graduated with honors from Providence College. She was an excellent marksman and an amazing cook. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her brothers Michael Tameo and Paul Daigle, and sisters Linda Tameo McCarthy and Tonja Freitas. She was predeceased by her sister Janice Simpson. Funeral will be Monday, April 2, 2018, at 8:45 am from Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
