Deliah Jane Ellen Richmond

Deliah Jane Ellen (Curran) Richmond, 39, of Ashaway, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 6, 2021. Born on May 28, 1981 in Warwick, RI, she was the daughter of Teresa Reposa-Curran of Ashaway and David and Phyllis Curran of Hope Valley. Along with her parents Deliah leaves behind her twin boys Clarke Richmond and Collin Richmond and their father Walter Richmond. Her siblings Melissa Castagna and her fiance Jason Chausse, Michael Castagna, Trinity Parmalee, Kathryn Morrone and her husband Christopher, RuthAnne Hargreaves and her husband Cory, and Barbara-Ann Roberts. As well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfather Leo Roode. Deliah’s career included bartending at the Ocean House and the Village Inn. Deliah was also the Office Manager at RPE Waste Services from 2008-2017. Most recently Deliah was a caregiver in the private sector. Deliah was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was known by those that loved her for her big mouth and even bigger heart, always willing to help in any way possible. Her door was always open to anyone in need. Deliah was fun loving, she enjoyed cruising and vacationing in Florida, along with Disney and Harry Potter. She was not only the life of the party but was the party. Deliah touched many people’s lives and will be missed by all that graced her presence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 14, 2021 at 12 pm, at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, RI. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI.
