Deidre A. Alves

Deidre A. Alves, 50, of Wakefield, passed away Friday, Sept. 1st. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of Katherine (Wilcox) Harris and the late Joseph Walmsley, and she was the step-daughter of the late Joseph Harris. Besides her mother, she is survived by three children; Chance A. Pates of North Kingstown, Chris Pates of South Kingstown, and Chante Pates of Providence; a sister, Sandra Pates of South Kingstown; and three grandchildren, Cherish, Corbin, and Bryce. She will be missed and remembered for her “Big Heart”. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 7th at 1 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
