Debra A. Weeden, (Debbie) 55, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Blais) Weeden. Debbie was a 1983 graduate of Coventry High School and she also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Providence College in 2010. Debbie has been working as an Assistant Clerk for the State of Rhode Island Judiciary since 1990. She was also the owner of Simply Beautiful Cleaning Services. Debbie was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered as a devoted mother, sister and aunt. Debbie had a deep faith in the Lord and found strength in her Catholic faith. In her spare time Debbie enjoyed gardening, walking with her dog Crystal, and spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, always being supportive for someone in need, and her beautiful smile. Debbie would do anything for anyone. Debbie is survived by her beloved son, Devon Perkins, Nicky Danakos her partner of 8 years; her sister, Lynn Whitcher and her husband Donald; her nephew, Brian Martin and his wife Carissa; Debra’s former husband Mark Perkins and his wife Leslie and his grandmother, Barbara Giuliano, many cousins and dear friends and her fur baby Crystal. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 4-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 10am at St. James Chapel, 2079, Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, Charlestown, RI 02813.
