Deborah (Tomkiewicz) Cline, 49, of Mascoutah, Illinois passed away suddenly on January 15, 2015 while visiting in Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of John Thomas Cline II and loving mother to Andrew Thomas Cline. Born in Hartford, CT she was the daughter of Frederick G. Tomkiewicz and the late Mary Anne Tomkiewicz of Wakefield, RI. Deborah graduated from South Kingstown High School and served 20 years in the Army National Guard. Deborah was an amazing wife, mother, and friend to all that knew her. She poured her life into the daily lives of those she cared for, putting the needs of others in front of her own. She lived her life by telling it like it was, and held nothing back. Anyone who knew Deb knew they were going to get a straight answer. Deb loved her family and her pets. She enjoyed camping in Illinois and whenever possible she escaped to Rhode Island. She loved Rhode Island and always called it her home. She let it be known that you can take the girl out of Rhode Island but you can’t take the Rhode Island out of the girl. She is also survived by her sister Cherie Conover and her brother Frederick G. Tomkiewicz Jr. as well as an extended loving family from Wisconsin, Texas, Connecticut and Rhode Island. A Mass of Christin Burial will be celebrated Friday January 22, 2016 at 9:30 am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown, RI. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Thursday January 21, 2016 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI.
