David B. Perry

David B. Perry, 61, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2018. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter L.G. Perry, Sr. and Frances R. (Hand) Perry. David was a police officer for the South Kingstown Police Department for 33 years before retiring. After retiring he was a ski instructor for Yawgoo Valley. David was in the United States Marine Corps. He was an animal lover and enjoyed bicycling, traveling, scuba diving, camping, boating, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving daughter Shannon L. Perry and her partner Josh Ferro of Aurora, CO; his grandson Ronan Ferro and one grandson on the way; his brother Walter L.G. Perry, Jr and his wife Janet of East Greenwich, his sister in law Nancy Perry of Wakefield, and two nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Perry. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 3-5 pm with a prayer service at 4:30pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations in Davids name may be made to the Animal Rescue Rhode Island, PO Box 458, Wakefield, RI, 02880.
