David P. Turtle Kelley

David P. "Turtle" Kelley, 53, of Wakefield, died Monday at home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Boisvert) Kelley. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of Louis B. Kelley, Jr. of West Warwick, and the late Phyllis (Carr) Kelley. Mr. Kelley was in the seafood distribution business for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by four children, Crystal L. Kelley of Wakefield, David L. Kelley, PFC, US Army, stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX, Louis P. Kelley of Wakefield, and Dennis Rockwell, Jr. of Wakefield; four siblings, Michael L, Steven A., Colleen A., and James F. Kelley. He was the brother of the late William J. Kelley and Susan R. Auger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday 5-8 PM.
