David Lee Caswell

David L. Caswell, 84, of South Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born and raised in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, he was the loving son of the late Horace and Ella (Clarke) Caswell. He was the devoted husband to his late wife Anna (Brison) Caswell for 52 Years.

David served in the US Navy from 1959-1963. He was a proud member of the South Kingstown Elks for 38 years. David and Annie were the owners of Caswell's Quik Mart for 25 years. He loved being on the water and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

David is survived by his brothers, James Caswell and Robert Caswell; his children David Southland (Erika), Susan Brown (Joe), Carrie Vallee (David), and Peter Caswell (Jeanine); eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Walter Caswell, and his grandson Brandon Southland.
