David Hall Arnold, Sr.

David Hall Arnold, Sr., 80, of South Kingstown passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was the husband of the late Kathleen E. (Sherman) Arnold. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Adelbert Kingsley Arnold and Gwendolyn (Hall) Arnold. Mr. Arnold worked for Warren Pump and Curtis Corner School for many years before retiring. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Union Fire District Peace Dale Station, he enjoyed car rides, sitting at the beach, Dunkin Donuts, peppermint patties and most of all he loved his family. He was brother of Gwendolyn Arnold-Huett. He was the father of Lori Beth Taylor and her husband Edwin A. Taylor III, Yvonne Lynne Arnold, David Hall Arnold, Jr., and Erin McDade, Michael E. Arnold, Edward L. Arnold and his wife Nicole Arnold, and Rebecca Arnold; grandfather of twenty and great grandfather of fourteen. Visitation Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
