Curtis C. Cudworth, 51, of Narragansett passed away suddenly on November 11, 2010 at home. He was the son of the late Richard and Judith Cudworth of Richmond. He was born on May 15, 1959. He is survived by his loving partner of 27 years Nancy Whiting. He was a graduate of Chariho High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Curtis was blessed with the ability to do anything using his hands. Accomplished mechanic and builder. There was nothing he could not fix. Helping others was his life’s work. Always a smile and a joke “roll with it cowboy”. Everyone knew him as the unofficial mayor. He loved music. He was a member of OASIS and the Curtis Corner Baptist Church. Besides Nancy, he is survived by his siblings, Gail Tefft of Richmond, Richard Cudworth of Providence and Danny Cudworth of Siegle, Pa.; nieces and nephews Jessica Gagnon, Zakaria Tefft, Taylor Cudworth and Benjamin Cudworth. Also great nieces Emmalee, Lindsey, Courtney and Ashlee. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 27 at 10 a.m. at the Curtis Corner Baptist Church, Curtis and South Roads, Wakefield. The final resting place will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to OASIS,4979 Tower Hill Rd.
