Craig B. Spears, Sr.

Craig B. Spears Sr., 69, of Charlestown, was called home Wednesday, September 19, 2018, surrounded by his children. Born in Westerly, a son of the late Russell G. and Grace (Brown) Spears. He was the husband of Avis (Hazard) Spears and the former husband of Carol A. Spears. Craig was the loving father of Gloria L. Spears-Bennett, Shi L. Spears, Craig B. Spears, Jr. and Christian J. Perez-Spears; father-in-law of Shakeila S. Perez; brother of Diana S. Mars, Holly K. Harris, Robin S. Spears Sr., Starr L. Mars, Forrest C. Spears Sr., Melody B. Amado, Lake G. Spears Sr., Autumn leaf Spears and Sky Larke Spears; loving grandfather of Canonicus, Sterling, Storm, Echo, Precious, Trystan, Sequin, Rain, Angel, Willow and one on the way; and loving great-grandfather of Mason, Faith, Sunset, Ember, Mason, Omari, Hazelnut, Timothy and Takota. He was the brother of the late Russell G. Spears Jr. and Lance P. Spears. A home coming day will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 11 am in the Narragansett Indian Church, Old Mill Road, Charlestown. Burial will follow in the Spears Family Cemetery, Charlestown.
