Constance D. Whitford
August 27, 1947 — April 7, 2024
Constance D. Whitford, 76, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Kent Hospital. She was the loving wife of Stanly Whitford. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Mabel (Salisbury) Caswell.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Whitford, a granddaughter, Faith Chipman and a sister, Linda Strate.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours will be Friday, April 19th, from 5 to 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Life Christian Church, 1729 Center Groton Rd, Ledyard, CT, 06339.
Her family will be omitting a gathering after the cemetery.
