Constance Johnson

Constance Johnson, 77, of Charlestown, died unexpectedly Saturday. She was the beloved wife of Raymond K. Johnson, they were married 54 years. Born in Fall River, MA she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie (Boomer) Singleton. Mrs. Johnson was a Home Health Aide for many years. She and her husband were very active in VASA Order of America. Besides her husband, she is survived two children, David Johnson and his wife Catherine of Narragansett, and Donna L. Bouressa and her husband James of Salem, NH; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday 4-7 PM. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Rhody VASA Park, c/o Linda Johnson, 43 Holden Street, Warwick, RI 02886.
