Concetta Ada Wilson

Concetta "Ada" Wilson, 91 of Wakefield passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Wilson, who passed away in 1998. Born in Trieste, Italy she was one of 18 children of the late Antonio and Anna (Sausage) Balci. Mrs. Wilson spent 14 years preparing meals for the priests living at the rectory of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was well known for her cooking, especially her Chicken Soup. She is predeceased by all of her 17 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 128 High Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
