Claire E. Jamieson-Hall

Claire E. Jamieson-Hall, 92, beloved wife of the late Andrew Jamieson, Leo Hall and the long term companion of Marcel Cottenier passed away at home with her family at her side on July 27, 2014. Devoted mother of Robert (Judith) Jamieson, Elaine (Iacona) Bevis, Charlene (William) Lee, Andrea Fram (Russ Shum); stepmother of Grace (Matthew) McEntee and the late Lenore (Patrick) Collins; Grandmother of 8, Great-grandmother of 11; step-grandmother of 4 and great-grandmother of 3. Sister of Gene and Hector Messier, and the late Blanche Vercellone, Lucille Tremblay, Eleanor LaRocque, Loretta Daunais, and Roland Messier. Claire was a long term member of the Charlestown Senior Center, enjoyed playing cards, dancing at the old Larchwood Inn, life on Watchaug Pond and avid Red Sox fan. Visitation Thursday, July 31 6PM-8PM at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI. A visitation will be held Friday, August 1 at St. James Chapel, 2097 Matunuck School House RD, Charlestown at 10AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Adult Day Center of Westerly, 5 Union St., Westerly, RI and Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 7801 Mesquite Bend Drive, Suite 105, Irving TX 75063.
